L’Homme Qui Marche Sculpture For £65 Million

This bronze sculpture which was created in 1961 by the Swiss sculptor Alberto Giacometti was auctioned on the 3rd of February 2010 to become the most expensive piece of art ever auctioned.

The sculpture was estimated to sell for between £12 and £18 million, but it just took eight minutes for the sculpture to hit the world record and be sold for £65 Million to an anonymous phone bidder.
