Istanbul Fashion Week 2010
Today the 3rd of February marks the start of the second Istanbul Fashion Week, an event which hosts a variety of the most famous and creative designers and brands from Turkey and worldwide. Istanbul fashion week is sponsored by ITIKIB and with cooperation of Fashion Designers Association and Istanbul Fashion Academy. The event will take place from the 3rd till the 6th of February 2010.
Istanbul, being one of the most beautiful and astonishing cities, is a meeting point where the eastern and western cultures cross and flourish. Istanbul being the 2010 “European Capital of Culture” adds to the fashion week a special impact and platform for this particular year.
Some of the brands presented in this fashion show are: Austin Reed, Avva, Formenti, Giovane Gentile, Koton, Mavi, Pierre Cardin, and Suwen.
