Burj Dubai: The Tallest Skyscraper in the World
The 4th of January 2010 marks the grand opening of Burj Dubai, the tallest building ever constructed in the world located in the United Arab Emirates. Its construction started in September 2004 and completed with a height of 818 m. The budget spent on this project reached up to $4.1 billion.
The skyscraper holds one of the four Armani hotels on 15 floors and for the first time the hotel interior is entirely designed by Giorgio Armani. The rest of the tower includes residential apartments, an outdoor swimming pool, corporate offices and suites and an indoor/outdoor observation deck. The world tallest building is suited around a variety of hotels, shopping centers and entertainment spots making it a world luxurious touristic destination.
